The Tripoli Security Directorate called Sunday on the Libyan Football Federation, the General Authority for Youth and Sports and the heads of clubs to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the possibility of preventing football fans from attending the matches.

In a statement, the Directorate attributed the possible decision to the misbehavior of some fans in the previous Premier League matches, which led to serious injuries to players and other people attending the matches, and in order to prevent the situation from developing to a much difficult stage.

The last match between Al-Ahly and Al-Wahda on Saturday witnessed riots by some Al-Ahli fans that caused an injury to one of the players in the head after being hit by a stone from the fans.
