The Libyan Premier League is set to resume action next Thursday as it gears up for the sixth round of matches in both the first and second groups.

In the first group, the key match pits traditional rivals Ahli Benghazi against Al-Nasr in Benghazi.

Meanwhile, the clash between Al-Ittihad and Abouslim takes centre stage in the second group, with Al-Ittihad eyeing a third-place finish to secure their spot in the championship playoffs, while Abouslim aims to climb up the standings.

Another thrilling fixture in the upcoming round sees league leaders Ahli Tripoli taking on Al-Madina, promising an intense battle between the top two teams. However, despite the outcome, it's unlikely to have a significant impact on the standings.

Notably, Al-Ittihad recently lifted their eleventh Super Cup title against Ahli Tripoli in a dramatic penalty shootout, leaving their opponents trailing with just two cups to their name.
