The spokesman for the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Weam Al-Taeb, has stated that the newly supplied ready-made stations are a radical and not a temporary solution to the electricity problems that some areas suffer.

Al-Taeb added that the stations supplied through the Tripoli seaport two days ago numbered 21, their capacity ranges between half a megawatt, a megawatt, and a megawatt and a half per station.

He also explained that the stations do not enter into the production process, but rather improve and raise the electrical voltage, stressing that they will bring more in the coming period.
