The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Muhammad Takala, received on Monday the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Haider Aghanen.
During the meeting, they reviewed political issues at the regional and local levels and explored ways to reach a comprehensive consensus in order to end transitional phases and proceed to elections.
Besides, the meeting aimed to examine Libyan-Russian relations and ways to develop them to achieve common interests. They also discussed building bridges of understanding and trust between the two nations.
