The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mishri, was given a full briefing on the work of the 6+6 joint committee in Bouznika, Morocco, according to a HCS statement.

Al-Mishri held a meeting with the heads of the HCS committees at his residence in Tripoli and discussed the most important ongoing political files in the country, as the Head of the 6+6 committee's HCS delegation gave a full briefing on its work and the mechanism it followed in completing its tasks. The meeting also reviewed the next steps leading to elections.

The 6 + 6 committee announced last week, at the conclusion of its meetings in Bouznika, that they had reached agreements regarding the presidential and parliamentary elections' laws, despite the postponement of the signing of the final agreement by the Speaker of House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, and Al-Mishri.
