The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, confirmed on Saturday that the HNEC is following with great interest the ongoing political dialogue in Tunisia and the roadmap proposed by the Acting Head of the UN Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Williams, which includes the referendum on the constitution and holding parliamentary and presidential elections.
He also indicated that any electoral process cannot succeed without the availability of many elements, most notably the consensus and political agreement between all parties, in addition to an election law that guarantees the voter democracy rights.
