The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, called on the members to attend an official session at the Benghazi headquarters on next Tuesday to complete the discussion of the unified salary bill.
The HoR spokesman Abdullah Blehiq said the session would also discuss the draft law on internal security and the draft law on the constitutional court.
The HoR members agreed on September 27 to increase the minimum wage from 500 Libyan dinars (around $100) to 1000 dinars (around $200), while the discussion of the remaining regulations of the unified salary bill remained unfinished.
HoR Speaker Saleh said at the time that the minimum wage would be applied to the public and private sectors alike, indicating the possibility of continuing deliberations on the draft law for several sessions.
