The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aqilah Saleh, has reviewed with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, the outputs of the Joint Committee for the Preparation of Electoral Laws 6 + 6 and the formation of a unified government that would oversee the conduct of elections.
The two sides also discussed developments in the political situation in Libya, especially the efforts made to hold presidential and parliamentary elections, according to the HoR media office.
In a tweet, the French ambassador said that during his meeting with the HoR Speaker in the city of Benghazi, he exchanged views on developments in the political file, including the mechanism for distributing resources and the procedures required to create a suitable climate for fair and transparent elections in Libya.
