The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with the regional director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)'s Middle East office, Mohammed Al-Falih, developing the Civil Aviation Authority and transit aviation, and supporting Libyan efforts to lift the air embargo on Libya.

This came during a meeting held in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, the Undersecretary for Air Aviation Affairs, Khaled Suisi, and the acting head of the Civil Aviation Authority.

The meeting comes within the framework of the ICAO delegation visit to Libya to inspect the situation of civil aviation, in preparation for the audit visit to be conducted at the end of the current year in order to lift the ban imposed on Libyan airports and carriers, according to the PM media office.
