Patrols of the Directorates Support Force in the Western Region has arrested a group of illegal migrants who were preparing to approach Europe by sea in the city of Zuwara.
The Directorate’s Support Force, Western Region said in a statement on Saturday that its patrols in Zuwara were able to arrest the migrants on Friday evening, and that they were of different Arab and African nationalities.
They were transferred to the headquarters of the Directorate Support Force in the Western Region, to complete the legal procedures, and hand them over to the competent authorities, it added.
