The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said Tuesday that it had handed over vital medical equipment to Libya's health ministry to be distributed to 14 medical centres and hospitals across the country.

The IOM explained via its website that the medical equipment was delivered to the Ministry of Health yesterday, clarifying that the shipment included ultrasound devices, medical monitors, wheelchairs, besides other medical equipment.

The equipment and appliances will be distributed to 10 major medical centres and 4 hospitals in 12 Libyan cities.
