The Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Libya, Ahmed Al-Hasaf, announced on Friday the voluntary repatriation of seven Iraqis from Libya after their attempt to illegally migrate to EU.
Al-Sahaf explained in a post published by the embassy on its Facebook page that the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli succeeded, after extensive efforts, in repatriating seven Iraqis who had entered Libya with the intention of illegally migrating to Europe.
Al-Sahaf added that the embassy's efforts were successful, and the migrants were voluntarily returned to Iraq after high-level coordination with the relevant authorities of the Government of National Unity in Tripoli, as well as the Foreign Relations Committee of the Iraqi Parliament.
