Zuwara Municipality received a new batch of medical aid from the Italian Embassy as part of the "Solidarity Bridge" program launched by the Italian government to help Libyan municipalities affected by illegal immigration.
The Municipal Council of Zuwara said the new batch included medical beds for the Intensive Care Unit, sphygmomanometers and ultrasound apparatus, in addition to other emergency and aid equipment.
The Italian Embassy had signed an agreement with Zuwara Maritime Hospital to provide it with a new batch of aid, estimated to be worth 200,000 euros.
