An Italian medical team performed Sunday scoliosis correction surgeries for muscular dystrophy patients at the Misrata Medical Center.
The Misrata Center said in a brief statement that the surgeries were conducted under the supervision of the Treatment Services Support and Development Agency on the sidelines of the International Conference on Localization of Treatment sponsored by the Government of National Unity under the slogan “Settlement of Treatment Locally - Restoration of Life.”
Meanwhile, an Egyptian medical team specializing in spinal cord transplantation visited Benghazi Medical Center on Sunday to study the possibilities and requirements for spinal cord transplantation in Libya.
