According to the official Italian website of Itamilradar, a Russian military "Tupolev" plane landed in Benghazi from Latakia, Syria.
Itamilradar, which specializes in tracking flights in Italy and the Mediterranean, confirmed the aircraft, a Russian Air Force Tu-154M Tupolev, departed from Russia’s capital Moscow, made a brief transit stop in Syria's Latakia, before landing in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.
The site added that similar flights were detected since the beginning of last January, and comparable operations have been recorded departing "Chkalovsky" airport in Moscow to Latakia airport in Syria before landing at their final destination, Benghazi.
