ItaMilradar confirmed that it tracked a new flight path of a United States (US) Air Force Boeing C-17A, which landed in Libya on Friday morning.

The Italian website, which specializes in tracking air traffic over the Mediterranean, said that the plane landed in, or close to Benghazi, leaving in the early afternoon heading east.

ItaMilradar remarked that what seemed to make this flight unusual is that the flight-path of the journey of the American aircraft, seems to have originated from a Gulf country, as opposed to the normal pattern of arriving from the United Kingdom, according to the website.
