A Jordanian medical team arrived in Sabha to perform IVF operations at the Sabha Infertility Treatment Centre, Libya's Health Ministry has confirmed.
The visiting team will perform IVF operations for more than 1,000 cases of infertility and delayed childbearing, in addition to supervising the training of medical and paramedical personnel on the latest methods for treating delayed childbearing and IVF techniques.
The visit of the Jordanian delegation comes with the support of the Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, to enhance medical services in the country and improve the treatment received for delayed childbearing, the ministry explained.
