The Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury, conducted talks Friday in Tunis with the UAE Ambassador to Libya, Mohamed Al Shamsi.
The focus of the talks was on supporting stability efforts and advancing the political process in Libya, including conducting elections to provide the Libyans with the opportunity to shape their country’s future, Koury explained on its X account.
