The head of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), Ali Mahmoud Hassan, and the Japanese ambassador to Libya, Shimura Izuru, have discussed enhancing cooperation and the Libyan frozen assets file.
The two parties discussed the negative impact of the current freezing system on the assets of the LIA, especially in light of the rapid growth of global markets.
They also discussed the latest developments related to the investment plan submitted to the Security Council committee concerned with Libya, and the LIA vision for developing Libyan economic performance.
