The Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries, Nasruddin Al-Fazzani, held talks with Spanish Ambassador Javier Soría to explore ways of enhancing cooperation in the fields of tourism and traditional industries.
In a meeting at the Ministry’s headquarters, Al-Fazzani underscored Libya’s commitment to reviving direct European flights to and from Tripoli, while streamlining related procedures.
He expressed optimism that more EU nations would follow the lead of Spain, Greece, and Malta in allowing Libyan citizens to obtain visas directly from Tripoli.
Ambassador Soría reaffirmed Spain's support for improving visa access for Libyans and reopening air routes between the two nations. He also praised Libya's untapped tourism potential, pledging support for the country's plans to boost international tourism.
