Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Hussein Al-Qatrani, has held a consultative meeting in Rome with his counterparts at the African and European Unions.
The group met on the sidelines of the General Conference of the International Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in its 43rd session.
"Al-Qatrani held a series of meetings within the framework of opening prospects for cooperation in various agricultural fields," Libyas Ministry of Agriculture said.
The minister was mobilizing support to restore Libya's right to vote in the FAO and regain its footing in this international organization.
