Libya and Turkey discussed ways to promote cooperation in the health sector during a meeting grouping health officials from both sides in Tripoli on Monday.
Discussions also touched upon the debts owed by the Libyan state in return for treating patients in Turkish hospitals.
The parties discussed strengthening cooperation, exchanging experiences, and training programs for health workers in Libya.
They also reviewed plans to support Libya's health structures, including helping the Misrata Physiotherapy Centre enhance its services.
