The Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of Libya to the United States, Khaled Daief, has reviewed with the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), the latest political developments in Libya.
“In a fruitful discussion at the Embassy, the USIP and Chargé d’Affaires Khaled Daief reviewed the recent political developments in Libya and the initiatives being taken by the Institute to promote conflict resolution and peacebuilding”, the Libyan Embassy tweeted.
The UN Security Council discussed on Monday, the developments in Libya and the status of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, stressing that the council must approve a new structure for it and appoint a new head.
