The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Al-Taher Al-Baour, has agreed with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, to support the efforts of the UN envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, aimed at holding national elections, in order to fulfil the aspirations of the Libyan people.
This came during Al-Baour’s meeting with Mihraje on Friday, at the Foreign Ministry’s headquarters, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries, in addition to the political developments in Libya, according to a brief statement issued by the ministry, without providing further details.
