A Libyan parliamentary delegation headed by First Deputy Fawzi Al-Nuwairi has paid a visit to the Parliamentary Services Institute of the Pakistani Senate and House of Representatives in Islamabad.

The delegation was briefed on the programs and training courses the institution offers in the research and consultations field as well as the legislative and oversight aspects, Spokesman for Libya's Parliament Abdullah Blehaq said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

The Pakistani institution also provides training courses for employees of parliamentary committees, media, parliamentary administration, and human resource development.

The MPs also got an insight into the training programs concerned with organizing and conducting elections, as they praised the institution's logistical and technical role in developing the parliamentary work in Pakistan.
