The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) said its CEO Ali Sassi visited Algeria the last few days and met Algerian electricity sector officials, thus signing a deal that activates the electric power linkage project between Algeria and Libya.
GECOL added that the deal could use the expertise of Algerian companies in service works at Libyan power plants as well as in resuming the suspended projects.
