An official source from the Mellitah Oil and Gas Company has refuted the claims made by the Italian agency Nova regarding an alleged cyber attack on the Mellitah oil complex in Libya.
Fawasel news platform reported, citing the source, that the technical team discovered the Trojan virus on some internal network devices last Saturday and promptly isolated the infected devices.
Operations and production are running as usual following the intervention of computer engineers to prevent the spread of the virus, according to the same source.
