A number of members of the House of Representatives (HoR) confirmed their support for the National Oil Corporation (NOC), along with the need to generate revenue through budgets for the corporation to overcome difficulties facing it to facilitate the continuation of its smooth operation.
This confirmation came during two meetings held on Wednesday, between the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NOC, Mustafa Snallah and members of the HoR.
Both meetings focused on the current situation in the oil sector, the level of production of oil and gas, in addition to the difficulties and challenges facing the sector, due to the scarcity of proper budgets.
At the meetings several deputies stressed the necessity to monetize the sector’s budgets in order to bypass these obstacles and to continue production operations smoothly.
