The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, commended the supportive role of France in the Libyan cause and its efforts to facilitate the upcoming mandates, including conducting the planned parliamentary and presidential elections simultaneously.
Menfi further acknowledged France's endeavours towards resolving the longstanding Libyan crisis through political solution pathways.
On Wednesday, Menfi met with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Mehrage, to discuss recent political, economic, and military developments in Libya.
Per a PC statement, the French Ambassador appreciated Menfi's role in bridging differences among various Libyan parties. He also lauded the President's continuous efforts to lead the country towards stability through free and transparent elections that include all Libyans without any exclusionary biases.
