The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi reaffirmed, on Saturday, support for the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinians to self-determination, reiterating his call for an immediate ceasefire and allowing humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
This came during his reception of the Special Envoy of the Palestinian President and First Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Nabil Abu Rdinah, in the presence of Chargé d'Affaires of the State of Palestine to Libya, Mohamed Rahal, according to a statement by the Presidential Council.
The Palestinian Special Envoy conveyed greetings of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, expressing his appreciation for the Libyan position towards the Palestinian cause, especially at all international meetings.
