The Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday that crew of Wadi Ghan (301) boat, affiliated with the General Administration of Coastal Security, was able to rescue migrants on Friday evening after they were found stranded.
The migrants were landed, after their rescue, at Shaab Post of the administration’s branch at Tripoli seaport, to be handed over to the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency to take legal action against them.
On Friday, the General National Maritime Transport Company announced that one of its ships rescued 28 illegal immigrants who were in dire need of help.
