A source close to the 5+5 military Committee stated that a meeting of the committee is due to be held on Sunday in Sirte with the participation of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
The meeting is expected to follow up on the implementation of what was agreed upon at previous meetings regarding methods of implementing the terms of the ceasefire agreement signed in Geneva last October.
Amongst the agreements was the ejection of all foreign mercenaries from Libyan soil, along with the formation of a joint force between both parties in order to secure major roads and cities and the opening of the road, which runs between the east and west of the country.
