Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Huwaij has called on Chinese companies to access the Libyan market and engage in investment projects under the supervision and follow-up of the authority and relevant institutions.
Al-Huwaij made the remarks with the delegation of the Chinese Companies Union, which included head of the union, the executive director, and a number of representatives of Chinese companies.
The two sides reviewed investment opportunities in the fields of industry and agriculture, in addition to strategic projects to develop infrastructure, such as in the sectors of ports, airports, hospitals, and renewable energy.
For its part, the Chinese delegation confirmed the desire of companies and investors to access the Libyan market and to establish projects through the participation of the local private sector, and target the African market.
