The Minister of Economy, Ali Al-Issawi emphasized the need to speed up the development of laws and regulations that protect the private sector and provide it with the opportunities to undertake major investment projects.
"There is a dire need to work to activate the partnership between the public and private sectors," Issawi stated, according to the Libyan News Agency, adding that the latter will contribute positively in reconstructing the country.
He also noted that they have received many offers from the private sector to establish air and sea ports, as well as new ideas for service projects, which have been submitted officially.
