Minister of Education of the Government of National Unity, Musa Al-Magaryef, discussed on Thursday, with the French ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, the issue of teaching French as an optional language for secondary school students.

During the meeting, Mihraje expressed readiness of the French embassy in Libya to support the plan of the Ministry of Education with training programmes and curricula, according to a brief statement issued by Ministry of Education.

The meeting was attended by Director General of the General Center for Training and Education Development, Abdul Salam Al-Saghir, Director of the Research Department at the Center for Educational Curricula and Educational Research, Saif Al-Nasr Bel-Hassan, and the Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy.
