The Minister of Education in the Government of National Unity, Mussa Al-Maqaryif, has mourned the student Anas Abdel Rahman Al Kafi, who was killed by a stray bullet in the recent clashes in Tripoli.

Al-Maqaryif inspected three schools that were damaged as a result of the clashes, and instructed the head of the Educational Facilities Authority to do damage control and to communicate with the committee formed in particular by the decision of the Prime Minister.

"Our students took up the challenge and went to the classrooms to take their exams, despite the damage caused to their schools," Al-Maqaryif said, according to the ministry Facebook page.
