The Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, has affirmed the ministry’s commitment to mobilizing all capabilities to work according to systematic and practical plans that begin with qualifying national cadres and providing comprehensive health care.

This came during his speech at the 16th Libya International Healthcare Forum and Exhibition.

Abu Janah pointed out that the Ministry of Health's most prominent priorities in the next phase are supporting investment in qualified medical and nursing personnel, encouraging local manufacturing of medicines and medical supplies, and legalizing imports to reach self-sufficiency.

The Minister also expressed the Ministry's readiness to cooperate with active partners to achieve investment in emerging technologies and the pharmaceutical industry, and to build and operate hospitals and clinics, in addition to enhancing medical training programs.
