Al-Taher Al-Baour, on charge of the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has participated in the opening session of the 36th edition of the Crans Montana International Forum, held in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

The forum's activities were attended by Libya's Ambassador to the European Union, Jalal Al-Ashi, the advisor to the Libyan mission in Brussels, and a number of African leaders, foreign ministers, senior officials and diplomats, in addition to representatives of international organizations and civil society.

The attendees discussed a number of important topics, including “Global challenges, especially the geopolitical turmoil in the region” and “the challenges facing the African Union and how it can be a diplomatic force with international influence.”
