The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Aoun, has chaired a meeting of the committee tasked by the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO) to select the African Energy Bank HQ.
The meeting discussed the criteria for choosing the country that will host the bank, during which two files submitted by Ghana and Nigeria were presented, with the rest of the applicants being contacted to send visual presentations of their proposed headquarters.
