The Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity (GNU)
has presented its vision to enhance Libya’s role in localizing vaccine manufacturing within the International Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative.
This came during discussions of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Hospital Affairs with the Director-General of the International Vaccine Institute in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, according to the ministry Facebook page.
The meeting was organized by the Government of Kenya in cooperation with the International Vaccine Institute and the Africa Centers for Disease Control, on the sidelines of the 37th African Union Council.
