The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Mohammad Haitham signed in the Russian capital Moscow, a cooperation agreement with his Russian counterpart in the areas of essential health services and enhancing and management of hospitals and health centres in Libya.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the field of medical science and research, exchange of information, and organizing exchange visits of health experts in both countries.
Both sides also discussed the establishment of a plant for producing medical solutions in Libya as well as implementing training programs for Libyan medical and paramedical personnel, according to the ministry's information office.
