The Libyan Mufti, Sheikh Al-Saddiq Al-Gharyani, said “Fathi Bashagha’s parallel government is a way to achieve Khalifa Haftar’s dream of ruling Libya.”
Sheikh Al-Gharyani added on Tanasuh TV’s Al-Islam wa Al-Hayat program that the difference today in Libya is between two projects not individuals: the project of elections and the project of the extension of transitional periods until Haftar rules Libya. All Libyans must be united against Haftar’s project.
“Those who are siding with Haftar are working on destroying their own project by their bare hands and they will regret it one day.” The Mufti added.
