The Director of Insurance and Compensation at the National Shipping Company, Mohammed Al-Ahrash, confirmed the safety of the Libyan vessel crew "Badr ", detained in the Bulgarian ports, after being beaten and forcibly disembarked from the ship.
Al-Ahrash clarified in a press statement that the captain of the Libyan ship Abdullah Abdul Jalil is now in the custody of the Libyan embassy in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia.
The National Company of Sea Transport and Ports Authority has issued a statement Saturday confirming the seizure of the vessel Badr by the Bulgarian coastguard police.
