The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on Monday that 21 new cases of coronavirus were reported, with an infection rate of 4 percent.

NCDC explained in its weekly update of the epidemiological situation that it had received 522 samples, which were tested using (Real Time PCR) technology.

The results showed 21 positive cases and 501 negative samples, while nine cases recovered from the virus, and no new deaths were recorded, according to NCDC.

NCDC highlighted the overall state of the epidemic in the country by reporting that the total cases of coronavirus in Libya so far amounted to 507,142 cases; 44 of which were active cases, 500,661 recoveries, and 6,437 deaths.
