The Director of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Haider Al-Sayeh, has warned of the emergence of a new strain of the Coronavirus, which began in India and spread to several countries.
Al-Sayeh, in a post on his Facebook page, explained that the new strain has the ability to compromise the immune system, explaining that it has become a matter of controversy among scientists as a “cause of concern.”
"If the presence of the new strain is confirmed in the country, this will mean a new stage, unfortunately," he added, saying that “Coronavirus is a story that will not end, even if we wanted to."
