The new Libyan Ambassador to Nouakchott, Suhail Al-Turki, presented a copy of his credentials on Tuesday to the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug.
Ould Merzoug welcomed the Libyan diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad in Nouakchott, in his capacity as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Libya to Mauritania, in the presence of several ministry officials, according to the Mauritanian News Agency.
This diplomatic step precedes the formal submission of the ambassador’s credentials to Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani.
