Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj said that he has no intention to negotiate with Khalifa Haftar to end the aggression on Tripoli, which has been going on for more than two months now.

"What Haftar did in the past years shows that he is unfit to be a partner in the political process," Sarraj told Reuters, insisting that Tripoli's defending forces will continue to repel the aggression against the capital.

He also voiced concerned about the possibility of dragging oil fields and ports to the conflict, stressing that his forces would avoid attacking any oil facility even if Haftar's militias were stationed there.
