The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced the resumption of production of a well in the Abu Attifel field, with a capacity of 4,000 barrels of oil per day.
The Mellitah Oil and Gas Company was able to rehabilitate the well (A75) in the Abu Attifel field, in implementation of the NOC’s plan to increase production.
The NOC indicated that Mellitah Company carried out re-perforation and extension operations for the productive layers, and the results of the initial tests reached the production of 4,000 barrels of oil per day, after it was only 781 barrels.
