The US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, has reaffirmed the United States’ support for the ongoing efforts of the UN Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily to advance the political process, according to Norland X platform page.
Norland explained, highlighting budget issues, the depreciation of the dinar, and the need for compromise and unified governance.
“We call on all institutional stakeholders to participate in a dialogue to resolve remaining obstacles standing in the way of a credible path to elections”, Norland said.
