The US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, has expressed the support and welcome of the United States to the announcement of the unification of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL).
This came during a meeting held by Norland in Tunisia with the CBL governor, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, and his deputy, Mari Rahil, in the presence of US Deputy Ambassador Jeremy Brandt.
The CBL stated that the US envoy confirmed during the meeting the US support for the serious steps that were taken to reach this entitlement and its positive results.
